Speaker Bio
Boyd Campbell CBET, CRES, CHTM – Boyd has been in the Biomedical field for 39 years and served in many different capacities. He is also a two-time past president of the NCBA as well as serving as Vice-President and Vendor Coordinator. During his time working in the Biomedical field, he has obtained several certifications and gained much knowledge in many areas. This has allowed him to present classes from the state to the National level helping train and teach other Biomedical Technicians. Boyd has also conducted education on behalf of the World Health Organization to technicians in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Class Description
This class will take you from beginning to end to help prevent and avoid liability. Some of the elements of the class include proper documentation for routine repairs and service, PM Scheduling, Proper Testing devices, Incident procedures, and proper communication. In addition we will cover what happens when an incident is reported and how to respond. The class will be interactive as participants are encouraged to share their policies and procedures on incident investigation.
